HTC Incredible S Soft/Hard Factory Settings

This is a step by step instruction on how to Factory Reset and Hard Reset the HTC incredible S from HTC support.

Restarting your HTC Incredible S phone (soft reset)
If the phone is runa slower than normal, an application is not performing properly, or your phone becomes unresponsive, just try restarting your phone and see if that helps solve the problem.

To restart your phone, simply turn it off and back on. If pressing and holding the POWER button doesn't work, then remove the battery, wait for a few seconds, reinsert the battery, and then turn the phone on.
Performing a factory reset (hard reset)
If you're passing your phone on to someone else or your phone has a persistent problem that cannot be solved, you can do a factory reset (also called a hard reset). This returns your phone to the state it was in before the first time you turned it on.

Note: Performing factory reset will not delete the data and files that are stored in your phone’s microSD card.
However, It will permanently delete all your data and customized settings, any applications you've downloaded and installed will also remove . Be sure to back up any data and files you want to keep before you do a factory reset.

HTC incredible S - Factory reset via settings

1. From the Home screen, press MENU
2. Select Settings.
3. Scroll down the screen and
4. Then tap Privacy, select Factory data reset.
5. On the Factory data reset screen, tap Reset phone.
6. Then select Erase everything.

HTC incredible S - Performing a factory reset using phone button combination.
If you cannot turn on your phone or access the phone settings, you can still perform a factory reset by using the buttons on the phone.

1. With the HTC incredible S phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then briefly press the POWER button.
Note: If you are not sure whether your phone's power is turned off, remove and then reinsert the battery.
2. Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the VOLUME DOWN button.
3. Press VOLUME DOWN to select CLEAR STORAGE, and then press POWER.
4. Press VOLUME UP to start the factory reset.

 

HTC EVO 3D Hard Reset Solution

This are the procedures to soft/hard reset the HTC EVO 3D to its original factory default settings.

Note: Performing a factory reset is only advisable if you want to return back the phone to its original factory default settings and also fix some abnormal functions of the device. We recommend to have a back up copy  all of your personal data before proceeding because the result of this process will delete all data you previously installed on the device.


HTC EVO 3D Factory data reset:

1. On the main home screen, select menu
2. Select Settings, then Privacy
3. Select Factory data reset
4. Select Reset phone
5. Enter the password if prompted, then confirm by selecting Erase everything
HTC EVO 3D Hard reset, this may help if the phone experience some hang or frozen on some applications:

1. Turn the phone's power off. Take the battery out from the device, wait a couple of seconds and reinsert it back again.
2. Gently, Press and Hold the Volume Down button
3. Then also press and hold the Power button until the device turns on
4. A menu will then appear like: Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
5. Just select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
6. Then press and release the Power button
7. Select Volume Up if YES and Volume Down for NO

The phone will then reboot to its factory fresh state settings, once the reset process is completes.

Any data including third-party applications previously stored from the HTC EVO 3D already wiped or deleted.

 

HTC Sensation 4G Hard Reset Default Settings

Here's a step by step instructions on how to hard reset the HTC Sensation 4G.
OS     Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread)
CPU     1.2 GHz dual-core processor, Adreno 220 GPU, Qualcomm MSM 8260 Snapdragon

Precautions: This process will delete or wipe all data from the HTC Sensation 4G. Don't forget to
to have a back up copy of all your important files stored on the device before proceeding.

Factory Data Reset procedures:

   1. On the main home screen, tap menu
   2. Select Settings, then Privacy
   3. Select Factory data reset
   4. Select Reset phone
   5. Enter the password if prompted, then select Erase everything.

If the HTC Sensation 4G is frozen: Reboot or restart the phone and do a hard reset through
button combination.

   1. Turn the power off. , take the battery out and reinsert it back again
   2. Hold the Volume Down and Power Button
   3. A menu will then show up such as Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
   4. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
   5. Press and release the Power button
   6. Select: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO

Wait 'till the phone reboot, once the wipe process completes, the HTC Sensation 4G  will then return to its original factory fresh state default settings.
All data including third-party applications will be deleted from the HTC Sensation 4G .So you may need to re-install it back again.

“আপনার বন্ধু কুদ্দুসের মগজ আপনার থেইকা বহুত বড় ও শক্তিশালী।হালায় বহুত পাকনা আর আপ্নে এক্টা আস্ত ভোদাই।এখন আপনি কি ভোদাই ই থাকবেন না কুদ্দুসের মগজ ভাজি কইরা খাইবেন?”

কোন বাপের বেটা এইটা অ্যাকসেপ্ট না কইরা পারব?তো এইক্ষেত্রে প্রথম শর্ত হল আপনাকে গেমসগুলোতে তুখোড় হতে
হবে…তারপর আপনার ডিমান্ড আপনি নিজেই বুঝতে পারবেন…ফ্রেন্ডদের প্রোফাইলে গেম “খ্যাপ” খেলে বেড়ানো প্রথম ফ্রি-ল্যান্সার ফেসবুক গেমার হিসেবেও আপনার নাম গিনেস বুকেও উঠে যেতে পারে !!তো হয়ে যাক….

এইটা একটু কষ্টসাধ্য তরিকা..তবে এইটার ইনকাম সবচে বেশি।ফেসবুকে আপনি দেখতে পাবেন হাজার হাজার লাখে লাখে ফ্যানপেজ…বারাক ওবামার ফ্যানপেজ যেমন আসে..তেমনি সবুজ রংয়ের বদনারও ফ্যানপেজ দেখতে পাবেন।তবে এরা কেউই আপনার টার্গেট নয়।আপনার টার্গেট হল ,প্রায়ই দেখবেন আপনার পরিচিত কারও নামে ফ্যানপেজ…আপনার সহপাঠি বা আপনার বড়ভাই।উঠতি কোন গায়ক বা মডেলও হতে পারে আবার একেবারে ভাদাইম্মাও হতে পারে। যাইহোক..আপনার কাজ হল মোটামুটি বিশটার মত ফেইক আইডি তৈরী করে ফ্যানপেজ গুলা সক্রিয় রাখা….আর ফেইক আইডিগুলা মেয়েদের হলে তো কথাই নেই…”ওয়াও ভাইয়া,ইউ আর লুকিং সোওও কিউট”….”আমি ভাইয়ার একজন বিশাআআআল ফ্যান”…টাইপ কমেন্ট দিয়ে ভর্তি করে রাখুন।ফ্যানপেজও চালু থাকল…আপনার বন্ধুর নামও ফাটল…আপনার হাতেও কিসু আসল..দেখেন কারও কিন্তু লস নাই..

আসুন হ্যাক করি বাংলালায়ন ও কিউবির

কিউবি এবং বাংলালায়ন বাংলাদেশে ভাল ইন্টারনেট সেবা আনলেও Fair Usage পলিসি দিয়ে আমাদের সকলকে বাশ দিতেছে। কিউবি ১মেগা স্পিড স্কাই প্যাকেজের Fair Usage ছিল ৯০ সেখানে এখন ৩৫??? এটাকে কেউ স্কাই বলে?? আর ৫১২ অথবা ১মেগা স্পিড নিয়ে ৬গিগা বা ১২ গিগা হলে কি হয়???
কেনা চায় ইচ্ছা মত ডাউনলোড করার স্বাধীনতা। আর যারা কিনা প্রি পেইড এ আছেন তাদের ৪০০ বা ৭০০ টাকায় যেপরিমান নেট দেয় তা না দেয়ার মতই। আমার এই টিউনটা মূলত প্রি পেইড গ্রাহকদের জন্য দেয়া হচ্ছে এবং আমি প্রিপেইড এ এটা করে সাকসেস হয়েছি। তবে যারা পোস্টপেইড ৬ বা ১২ জিবি চালাচ্ছেন তাদেরও কাজ করবে আশা করি। ছবি দিয়ে বিস্তারিত নিম্নে প্রোসেস ব্যাখ্যা করা হল।
আমার এই সিস্টেম শুধু কাজ করবে আপনার আইডিএম(Internet Download Manager) এর জন্য। অর্থাৎ ব্রাউজিং এর ক্ষেত্রে কোনো কাজে আসবে না শুধু আনলিমিটেড ডাউনলোড করতে পারবেন(ব্রাউজিং এ কতটুকু্ই বা নেট যায় সব তো ঐ ডাউনলোডই)। যদি আপনার আইডিএম না থাকে তবে Google সার্চ করেই পেয়ে যাবেন।
****মনে রাখুন সবগুলো কাজ ধাপে ধাপে করতে হবে, একটা আগে একটা পরে করলে হবে না****
> আপনার আইডিএম ওপেন করুন এবং Downloads থেকে Options এ ক্লিক করুন।

> এবার Site Logins এ ক্লিক করুন।

৩. New তে ক্লিক করলে যে ট্যাব ওপেন হবে সেখানে নিচের ছবির মত https সিলেক্ট করুন।

> Server/Path এ *.usage.qubee.com.bd ইউজার এ আপনার Qubee User(@qubee.com.bd সহ) এবং পাসওয়ার্ড এর বক্সএ পাসওয়ার্ড বসান।

আর বাংলালায়ন ইউজাররা *.125.255.135.100 বসাবেন।
> এবার OK বাটন চাপুন নিচের ছবির মত দেখতে পাবেন এখন OK চেপে বের হয়ে আসুন।

——-আইডিএম এর কাজ এখন শেষ। এবার দ্বিতীয় ধাপ এ আসা যাক।
> আমরা এখন আপনার কিউবি মডেমের ম্যাক এড্রেস পালটাবো। আসলে কোনো ডিভাইসেরই ম্যাক এড্রেস পাল্টানো সম্ভব নয় কিন্তু স্পুফ করা সম্ভব। যা হোক বেশি বিস্তারিত কথায় যাব না। আমি সফ্টওয়্যারটা দিচ্ছি তা মূলত কিনে নিতে হয় এবং সিরিয়াল কি ও খুজে পাওয়া যায় না। এটা আমি মূলত কিউবি বাংলালায়ন ইউজারদের জন্য মডিফাইড করে নিয়েছি। এবং নিজে Serial Key ও বিনিয়েছি। তবে আমার এভাস্ট এন্টিভাইরাস আমাকে এটাকে ইন্সটল করতে দেয় না। তাই আমি আপাদত ১০ মিনিটের জন্য এভাস্ট ডিজেবল করে নিচ্ছি আপনাদেরও করতে হতে পারে।

****ভয় পাবার কিছু নেই। একটা জিনিস জেনে রাখুন আপনি চাইলেও আপনার কিউবি বা বাংলালায়ন মডেমে আপনার একাউন্ট ছাড়া অন্য একাউন্ট দিয়ে নেট চালাতে পারবেন না। তাই আপনার আইডি পাস চুরি করে আমার কোনো লাভ নাই****
> এখানে ক্লিক করে সফ্টওয়্যারটি ডাউনলোড করে নিন। সফ্টওয়্যার ইন্সটলের আগে অবশ্যই নেট কানেক্টেড থাকতে হবে এতে ইন্সটলের সময় ছোটখাটো আপডেট থাকলে তা করে নেবে তা না হলে কাজ নাও করতে পারে। এবার সফ্টওয়্যারটি ইন্সটল করুন(ইন্সটলের শুরুতে একটা Eror রিপোর্ট দিবে তাতে ভয় পাবার কিছু নেই, Next, Accept চেপে চেপে কম্প্লিট করুন। এবং সফ্টওয়ার Launch করে আমার দেয়া কি পারোর—এবার ফাইনাল স্টেপ এ চলে এসেছি।
> এবার আপনার ইন্টারনেট Disconnect করুন তবে মডেম লাগিয়ে রাখুন এবং মাত্র ইন্সটল করা সফ্টওয়্যারটি ওপেন করুন। নিচের ছবির মত দেখতে পাবেন। যেই Wimax USB Card এর পাশে Active Mac দেখতে পাবেন সেটায় ক্লিক করুন।

৯. এবার Random এ চাপুন(এতে একটা Random Mac Address জেনারেট হবে যার তথ্য Qubee সার্ভার বা Banglalion এ নেই)

১০. এবার Update Mac চাপুন।

এখন প্রায় ২ মিনিটের মত সময় নিবে তারপর নিচের মত একটা রিপোর্ট আসবে।

এখন আপনি সাধারনভাবে আপনার কিউবি বা বাংলালায়ন সফ্টওয়্যারটি দিয়ে নেট কানেক্ট করুন। এবং ডাউনলোড করুন। দেখবেন কোনো Usage খাবে না।
